Swavalamban Connect Desk

Swavalamban Connect Desks (SCDs) are set up at District Industries Centres (DICs) in 35 districts of Uttar Pradesh to reach out to youth who are willing to take up entrepreneurship, and existing enterprises seeking credit, handhold them: dissemination of information to new/existing entrepreneurs on various government schemes, subsidies, benefits, etc.

Around 2054 number of enquiries generated/handled by SCDs in 18 months and total 1036 enterprises supported out of which 716 are new enterprises and 320 existing enterprises. The total loan sanctioned to the units were ₹59.88 crore.
